See how this is confusing for me --- Im having enormous difficulty finding the 0.2.97.44 Romset for FBA.

The FBA emulator I have installed on the RG350 shows version 0.2.97.44 which is what led me to believe this is also the ROM set I will need.

Ive searched archive.org and previous posts on Reddit, without finding an answer that Im satisfied with.

I downloaded the MAME 0.37b5 ROM Set before realizing that it isnt what Im supposed to use for FBA.

I also have some version of a FinalBurn NEO ROM Set downloaded.

The number of ROMs available in each complete set differs wildly.

I have the option of using a set that has 2000 files, or another that has 5000 files, etc.

I basically want the FBA emulator to show EVERY game as playable (not missing) - the complete set, which according to the emulator is over 6000 games.

I suppose an alternative is to piece together the set myself by finding the required ROMs from the various sets around the Internet, but Im hoping for an already available set that I can grab.

There are ROMs, but then there are also SAMPLES, and some sets are merged while others are split.

Console emulator has always been the thing I understood the easiest.

Theres FinalBurn Alpha, FinalBurn Neo, MAME, and other ROM sets, each with a specific version number, and only compatible with specific emulators, etc.

I can maintain my handheld and console ROMs with no issues, but Im having trouble learning about arcade emulation it seems.

I HAVE some MAME ROM sets on my SD card currently, some that work with the emulator and others that do not, but the set is not complete as it still shows there are games not playable.

I would love to receive some assistance in fulling this request to complete the FBA ROM set for my RG350, and satisfy the data hoardercollector in me.

Starting at version 0.2.97.44 there is no real final version of the rom set.

Version 44 is constantly changing as new versionsnightlys of Final Burn Neo are released.

The final Burn Neo team releases new dat files that coincide with the emulator releases.

So your.44 rom set is only complete until a new dat file is released.

At that point you have to update to keep your.44 set current and complete.

A full Mame set, a current FBNeo dat file and ClrMamePro should give you an updated, most current and complete.44 rom set.

So a few games has been added in May (a few weeks back) and I was looking at FBNeos hithub commits to find the new dat for them, turns out here is none for now, is it not released yet or was I looking in the wrong place Continue this thread level 1 Original Poster 2 points 4 months ago I notice the filter settings in FBA to disable clones will make the ROM list even smaller.

I think I would even be happy with that if I could figure out how to get a list of only those ROMs from the FBA emulator to my desktop PC.
